History was made as CAMPAC (Confederation of African Missionaries, Pastors, and Churches) held its very first evangelistic crusade in the outskirts of Manila, Philippines in Boso Boso, Rizal . The event drew an overwhelming response from the local community, with around 1,000 people in attendance.
To ensure the success of the crusade, thirty local pastors were mobilized to work hand-in-hand with CAMPAC leaders in planning, prayer, and outreach. Their combined efforts bore fruit as the community gathered in large numbers, eager to hear the life-changing message of the gospel.
Rev. Michael Omolaoye, the Vice President of CAMPAC, delivered a stirring message of salvation, emphasizing the hope, forgiveness, and new life found in Jesus Christ. Missionary Leonard Maina, who presided over the program, guided the event with passion. The atmosphere was filled with worship, unity, and the expectation of God’s move.
At the close of the meeting, a powerful altar call was made—and in response, two hundred souls joyfully surrendered their lives to Christ. Local pastors and missionaries immediately prayed with the new believers, offering encouragement and guidance as they begin their new walk of faith.
The crusade did not only focus on spiritual needs. In an act of compassion, rice was distributed to needy families, a gesture that deeply touched the hearts of many attendees. This holistic approach ensured that both spiritual and physical needs were met, reflecting the love of Christ in action.
Leaders of CAMPAC expressed gratitude for the grace of God that made the crusade possible and highlighted their vision to continue reaching out to communities across the Philippines with the gospel. The success of this first crusade has set the tone for even greater harvests in the future.
Indeed, this historic event stands as a testimony of what God can do when His people come together in unity and faith.
